Pelletteria Due Elle
The origins of Pelletteria Due Elle activity are to be found in the 1970s in Brescia (Lombardy), where many people showed off small leather goods created by Francesco Giaconia. In those years, the elegance and the good workmanship were measured on simple leather wallets produced in a small craft shop managed by capable people; these are the roots of what Pelletteria Due Elle is today. In 1986 Davide Giaconia, Francesco’s son, took over the company. This guarantees a passage of the practical knowledge and the values of the original leather manufacturing, but also assures a generational change that leads to the industrialization of the workshop allowing an opening to a world in constant change. A world that requires both technology and the preservation of traditions and knowledge inherited from the past.
Under the guidance of Davide Giaconia Due Elle specializes in the creation of belts, a procedure consisting of more than forty steps to be faced with surgical precision. Excellence emerges in all these steps: each machine, which can work flawlessly and on large numbers, is calibrated on each specific work by skilled and passionate people, guaranteeing a great "human" contribution to industrial processing. From production to Italian and non-Italian distribution: Due Elle also exports its products to Germany, France and Japan, proudly raising the flag of Made in Italy in the field of leather goods.
High quality leathers and textures
The leather comes from Tuscany, Veneto, from Italian tanneries only, ready to face the processing path inside our laboratory. The quality of the raw materials is excellent. Masters of the First Flower, the unique leather that does not receive any unnecessary treatments or corrections after hair removal, artisans can apply elegant prints such as the recurring “lizard print” and many others. The range available to the customer is really wide, starting from the common calfskin or cowhide, passing through the delicate suede and sauvage, to get to the very precious python, caiman or eel leathers. Vegetable tanned leather is also available in order to satisfy every request.
A mission between market and ethics
The current and stable organization/staff of Due Elle enables the factory to monthly produce at least 15.000 belts Of course, the monthly production also depends on the kind of belt/s to be manufactured; in case of simple sporty belts, sometimes without lining, or not too elaborated , the monthly production can of course increase. The flexibility of Due Elle is also represented by the possibility to increase the monthly production, dealing with programmed orders, by organizing the production and the staff consequently. As mentioned above, Due Elle produces men and women articles for Italian customers and exports to Germany, France and Japan.
